After about eight years of working in a hybrid remote capacity, I was a little concerned about how I would feel going back to work full time at an office. It was making my anxiety go through the roof, and I wasn’t sure how I would feel or interact with people.
However, I kept reminding myself that before remote work became common, I had been working onsite at an office for over two decades. I managed it all those years, so I figured this wouldn’t be any different.
As expected, not only have I adapted back to working onsite full time, but I’m actually thriving in this environment. To be honest, I think I prefer it. From a collaboration standpoint, it’s much easier to work together when you’re in the same room. You pick up on things naturally and help each other improve.
I know some people dislike going to work onsite, but for me and my current situation, I’m okay with it.
