This is a place that my fiancee and I visit for dinner whenever we are in Flushing. Out of the many places to eat, more often than not she will say to me “Honey, do you want Vietnamese”, to which I will excitedly reply “Yes, pork choppies, woohoo”….
Today was a day like any other at Pho Viet. The staff was not attentive, they were not friendly, no smiles were given, my hello was received with a grunt and a “You want something to drink”. I got annoyed and I said “How are you doing today”. I engaged her, I forced the lady to smile.
So why do we return here every single time? The price and the food! Oh and the food comes out super fast, every time. You almost have to wonder how they do it.
In any case the food is decent and reasonably priced. I usually get the Grilled pork chops over rice or the Grilled chicken over rice. My fiancee got “bo”, it’s like a beef and noodle soup dish, also a very tasty dish.
We got all this for a total of $15 including tips! I tell you what, keep your smile lady, just give me the food.
