Business Review – Pizzeria Uno Chicago Bar & Grill

My mom came by with my little sister to see me after work yesterday. I decided to take them to this location as they are familiar with it, and it’s convenient.

We arrived a little before 7pm and the place was a ghost town, but I don’t mind that at all. I’m certain if you come here on a weekend it’s packed, in fact I have experienced that already.

I had steak with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The dish came with a lone breadstick. I don’t remember anything about the dish being outstandingly great, nor do I recall anything being bad. This simply is a dish that “is what it is”.

Nothing bad to say, but nothing great to say. It’s simply acceptable, did the job. I was hungry, I ate. End of story. The breadstick is the only thing I remember, it was tasty, but the taste faded quickly. You could not savor or enjoy it, as quick as you got it in your mouth, that’s how quick the taste left. We had the apple with ice cream dessert, that was pretty good. Tasted yummy.

The service was acceptable, the space a bit cold then became quiet hot. Uno is one of those places you go and you just “go”. I don’t know if this makes sense to you? It’s nothing outstanding but it serves the purpose.
