So today I attended the UYE The Lonely Hearts Club @ Radio Star Karaoke. Props to Jose X for arranging this really cool event.
The place appeared clean, and the area was comfortable. I liked that the bathrooms were somewhat private.
They were not cheap with the amount of alcohol they serve, but the drinks were very expensive here, I had 2 grey goose with OJ and it was $11 a small cup.
The wait to sing a song was very long. Like Mike B said in his review, Old man Peter Griffin and Tall Asian guy are very heavy Mic hogs. At one point we started booing them and complaining because they did every damn song. WTF!
The event was fun, and I look forward to next time, however we won’t sit at the bar, we’ll get a private room, or go elsewhere and get a room. The wait was ridiculous.
