I remember when I was a kid, my class went on a school trip to City Hall. While there, Mayor Ed Koch came down some steps, he looked like an Angel descending from heaven to little kids like us at the time. Larger than life. He greeted us and shook our hands and then carried on with his business. I never followed his politics, I was a kid, but I simply remember liking the guy.
Later in life Mayor Koch started tweeting and interacting with us on Youtube. I engaged him on a few occasions with questions regarding his views on some issues. Below are his video responses to two of my questions. Rest in peace Mayor Koch, you will always have a special place in my childhood memories.
First I asked Mayor Koch how he felt about our involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I followed up with what his views were on 9/11 conspiracies.
