Why I Quit World War Armies: Frustrations with Map Selection, Glitches, and Card Availability

09/23/2024, 6:15 am Angel Rodriguez 0

I loved this game but stopped playing due to issues like map preferences not being honored, frustrating quitting mechanics, abrupt match endings, and difficulty earning essential cards. These problems hurt my progress and enjoyment. Fixing them would bring back the fun and keep players engaged longer.

World War Armies PC Keyboard Glitch and Matchmaking Problems Frustrate Players

05/01/2024, 12:26 am Angel Rodriguez 0

I love playing World War Armies, but the keyboard randomly stops working during gameplay, which is really frustrating on PC. Matchmaking needs improvement too, especially matching players who pick the same map. These issues hurt the experience and definitely need fixing.

World War Armies Review: Why Matchmaking Needs Improvement for Better Gameplay Experience

04/29/2024, 1:10 am Angel Rodriguez 2

I enjoy World War Armies as a simple real-time strategy game, but tough matchmaking and powerful opponents can make it frustrating. I hope the developers add fair quitting options, rematches, and better balance to make battles more fun and less one-sided for all players.

Call of Duty MW2 Latest Update Increases Running Bounce, Causes Motion Sickness Among Players

10/20/2023, 1:17 am Angel Rodriguez 0

After the latest MW2 update, running feels way bouncier and it’s making me dizzy and nauseous. I upped the field of view to 120 and lowered camera movement, but the bounce still needs to go. Realism is cool, but this motion is really uncomfortable.

Episode 116 – BJJ Safety, Abuse Concerns, and Changing Attitudes in the Jiu Jitsu Community
by@Angelrtalk

Some time ago, I wrote a post saying I wasn’t completely comfortable with my wife training jiu jitsu with men. The reaction from many practitioners was intense. I was called insecure, and some people insisted that abuse simply doesn’t happen in the BJJ community.

Since then, I’ve seen more and more posts and discussions acknowledging that jiu jitsu has had issues with grooming and abuse, and that these problems have existed for years. It’s been interesting to watch that shift. When I first shared my concerns, a lot of higher belts and experienced practitioners dismissed my perspective. Now, many of those same types of voices openly recognize that these problems are real.

That contrast is hard to ignore. I talk about it in more detail in episode 116.

I saw something similar during my time in the military. In environments that are heavily male dominated, with very few women, the risk of misconduct can increase. My concerns were never about insecurity. They were about awareness, caution, and looking out for the people I care about.
