As we got back from a long bus ride, myself and the lady were hungry. We walked for a bit around F.I.T and saw this place. My wife said she used to come here when she was in school so we decided to give it a try and see if lived up to her memories.
Upon entry were greeted by a nice young lady and led to a booth. I wanted to try the Rock Shrimp as an appetizer. The Rock shrimp comes in a sauce with some pieces of potatoes. It was pretty tasty, we both liked it. Great flavor, texture, and all around goodness.
As my main course I had a steak sandwich, this too was pretty good. Cooked “medium well”, exactly as I asked for it and it tasted delicious. My wife had ordered some Garlic bread as well, and I munched on that, pretty yummy! Her main dish was the onion soup, I didn’t try that one.
This is a bar setting, but it’s a nice bar with some good food. It also has nice comfortable seating and the service is pretty good. I enjoyed dining here and would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.
Just a life long New Yorker sharing the journey through my lens. Please take note of a post’s date. The views I express here are subject to change and evolving as I grow and learn.
I use to go there a lot before and after Rangers games. It’s actually a nice bar with decent pub food.
Yes, I was quite impressed with the quality of the grub.
