Why haven't you moved to Google Plus?

I guess the answer to this question will vary depending on whom you ask.  I am certain that there are several I.T types out there that will disagree with me and say that Google Plus is doing really well and that it is being adopted by users.

I am speaking in general, just your everyday user, the people that actually make these networks a success.  Most of my friends and family are still on Facebook. Google plus came along, and it seems to have some great potential. The thing that except for a few tech people, and a few other social media expert types, most people remain on either Twitter or Facebook.

Why is that?

I use all 3 of the “prominent” networks, but I mostly interact on Twitter and Facebook, and that is because that’s where my friends and family are at.  There have been days where I could go for quite a while and not see a single Google plus update. In my circle, user adoption is simply not there. I don’t mind using any of them, so long as my people are on there. It just so happens that they are all mostly on Facebook, so I use Facebook most.

Who knows, perhaps in the future “regular” people will give Google Plus a chance. I think it has great potential. I will continue to post on there, from time to time. However, due to the lack of engagement I do not use it much at this time.

Fans of Google Plus, what are your thoughts on this?
