Cheeburger Cheeburger

After watching Ironman 3 in Forest Hills tonight, (which was “so so” by the way) I decided I wanted to give this place a shot. I’ve been meaning to go here for years and just never got around to it, it was time for a big burger!

So what do I have to say about my experience? It was ok, certainly not the best burger that I have ever had, but not the worst. The burger I opted for was “The Serious Burger”, it’s a pretty thick, generous serving of burger meat. I had some onions, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato with it. The bun could barely handle the burger and toppings, I had to lighten the load by dropping off some of the items into the plate. It’s definitely a messy burger, make sure you grab some tissue to wipe your hands with.

I also had a combination of fries and onion rings. The fries were pretty good, my kid seemed to like them as well. The onion rings were so so, a little too battery for my taste, but then again, I had ordered quite a bit of stuff so it’s natural I’d start to feel stuffed and gross over all the greasy food. The milkshake was pretty good, just the right amount thickness and wateriness.

Overall, the meal was satisfactory, the service was nice and friendly. I’d say give it a shot if you are a fan of big, juicy, messy burgers.

  1. Karen, Yelp proved to me that they cannot be trusted. Because a few Elite users didn’t like me, and they flagged my comments, reviews, and profile, Yelp deleted my 250 plus review account. If I didn’t have a backup of my work on my website I would have lost hours upon hours of work. I went with urbanspoon because they allow me to run the reviews from my own site and send me traffic, as I send them traffic. It is a mutually beneficial relationship, and I tell you this, they do send me several visitors a day.

  2. Yelp isn’t trustworthy. They forget that even psychopaths can get elite accounts, and they give elite users to much weight and power. Fack them.

Urbanspoon meets my need. Is Zagat like yelp, meaning that the reviews live on their servers, or do they linkback to my site?

  3. Hmm, okay, looks like you can review on their too. I’m going to try and add a few a see how it goes. I don’t bother on yelp because at any given point, some b*tch *ss elite user will flag me and they’ll shut me down again. LOL. Since my profiles change on occasion I wont’ invest the time to put many reviews. Maybe in the future if I see they continue to leave my account alone I will.

  4. Steve defriended me and flagged one of my posts. Then went on over 5 different threads crying like a bitch. I find it sad because he would never be man enough to do that in real life. Or then again, he just might be a crybaby in real life too.
