Restaurant Review: Wrapido
Rating:

After watching the Lemon Andersen film and before the after party me and my wife wanted something quick to eat. We walked down along Eighth Avenue in search of something on the way that looked fast. Enter “Wrapido”. Oddly this sounds like a play on the spanish word “rapido” which means fast.
It’s a falafel place, but they also do wraps and other platters. I decided to get a grilled chicken wrap, loaded with healthy vegetables. The food was tasty, the wrap was humongous and with a drink totaled about $11 for the meal. This would qualify as a fast food joint by my standards, but it’s not terrible and can be healthy depending on your choices.
My wife only ate half of her falafel, she stated that it was very filling. I ended up eating my wrap with a spoon because it was too large to eat as a wrap. They were a little cheap there with the chicken, but not cheap with the veggies. Logical I suppose.
For a quick semi-healthy meal this place will do. But I wouldn’t seek it out though.
