Quick Question: Did Y’all Forget That Chick-Fil-A Was Anti Gay? This is just a friendly reminder to you guys that Chick-Fil-A CEO is anti-gay, donated money to anti-gay organizations, and was involved in a major boycott some years ago. Hello???
They have since then opened up a spot here in NYC, and it appears that everyone forgot about that “minor” detail? Now they are looking to open up a spot in Queens Center Mall. Mayor De Blasio said he will not patronize them, but that they have the legal right to open up the location. Councilman Danny Dromm is calling for a boycott of the location for the obvious reasons.
Meanwhile Chick-Fil-A claims that they employ people from all walks of life, and so on and so forth. You know how the saying goes, actions speak louder than words!
I was very surprised to see Chick-Fil-A stores in NYC, and more surprised to see the lines of people to eat there. I’m not sure how they so easily forgot the situation with them. Maybe Dromm and others will remind them?
