I don’t think I’ve ever fully watched Elf from start to finish, and if I did, I didn’t remember it. So today I decided to catch it.

Will Ferrell plays a human who ends up being raised by elves. He’s not the sharpest knife in the kitchen, but he has a heart of gold and loves Christmas. He is sincerely a kind and good character. The world around him is different, and when he ventures out to meet his biological dad, he learns some important lessons. But just when you think it’s all over and his spirit is down, his contagious Christmas cheer saves the day!

This movie is a bit old, so I’m not going to spend time writing an exhaustive review. I will say this: if you’ve never seen the movie, it is a heartwarming, entertaining tale that will make you feel pretty good. Yes, it is silly, but it’s a good kind of silly. Check it out!
