I was a kid, still fairly young, and sitting in an ER intake room. I don’t recall why I was there, but at one point the nurse asked me for my personal information, including my social security number. I didn’t know off the top of my head and the nurse said I should know it.
That day, I decided to memorize my social security number, among other important numbers that I rarely needed that have since become regularly used. So, though at the time I thought the nurse was tripping for expecting a little kid to know their SSN, she helped me down the road in life. So, thanks for that. I hope you are doing well wherever you are.

Just a life long New Yorker sharing the journey through my lens. Please take note of a post’s date. The views I express here are subject to change and evolving as I grow and learn.
