This is a wired headset by Razer. During my trial of wired headsets, I used and kept this one the longest. At one point, I pretty much decided that this was the one I was going to keep. However, while talking to one of my son’s friends, I learned that the wireless headsets these days have very little latency. At that point, I decided that I wanted to go wireless, so I returned this one.
If it wasn’t for that conversation though, I would have kept this pair of headphones. I really like the fit, the sound quality, the mic is amazing and overall this headset was really good. For my needs, it worked perfectly. Also, though they are wired, I didn’t find that the cable was annoying. Sure it’s better to be wire free, but really, it didn’t bug me too much.
This is a great headset and pretty damn affordable price. If you are looking to stay wired on your headset, definitely give this one a try.
