This is a wired headset by Razer. During my trial of wired headsets, I used and kept this one the longest. At one point, I pretty much decided that this was the one I was going to keep. However, while talking to one of my son’s friends, I learned that wireless headsets these days have very little latency. At that point, I decided to try going wireless, so I returned this one.
If it wasn’t for that conversation, I would have kept this pair of headphones. I really like the fit, the sound quality, the mic is excellent, and overall this headset performed very well. For my needs, it worked perfectly. Also, though they are wired, I didn’t find the cable to be an issue. While being wireless is convenient, the cable didn’t bother me much.
This is a solid headset at a very reasonable price. If you are looking to stay with a wired headset, this one is definitely worth considering.
