Just learned that Amtrak Acela trains now have assigned seats. I had no idea and almost sat in someone else’s spot on a busy train. If you’re used to picking any seat, heads up—Acela has reserved seating. Who knew?
A relaxing Alaska cruise with my wife and family brought stunning glaciers, playful sled dogs, and cozy ship moments despite rainy weather. Memorable experiences like watching ice fall and singing on stage made this trip truly special. I’d gladly take this scenic adventure again someday.
Years ago, I visited Australia while dating a woman from there. We explored Melbourne’s safety and charm, Sydney’s iconic sights, and the laid-back Whitsunday Islands. Though I wished to see the outback and New Zealand, the trip was still a memorable adventure I hope to repeat someday.
Bali in the early 2000s was a mix of stunning scenery, local culture, and unexpected adventures. From waterfalls and hot springs to beach dinners and village life, the vibrant landscapes and unique experiences left a lasting impression. I’d love to see how much it’s changed since then.
