I’m not gonna lie to y’all and act like I remember everything that went down at this restaurant. This was over a year ago, but I still remember the overall feeling I had.
My former team and I got here relatively early, as such we didn’t have any issues being seated. This was not the case this weekend when my wife and I tried to get seating, there was a 55 minute minute wait. LOL. It’s a popular spot, and with good reason.
I remember the service here being prompt, professional and pleasant. The food was good, and I don’t recall ending up with a headache. When the lady mentioned returning here, I was good with it. She wanted to try Kang Ho Dong Baekjong and I remember those guys kind of being jerks to us before. But this was not about me, it was about her, so we checked there after Jongro, no dice. The line went outside, so we just walked away. We ended up eating at another epic fail of a restaurant, Madangsui.
I’m sorry that I don’t have any pictures or specific details about the night, I simply can’t remember. But here’s the thing, Korean BBQ is Korean BBQ. So it’s either a good restaurant, or it sucks. In this case, the food was good, the service was good, and I recall enjoying myself. Hell, I could be wrong, but I generally remember places that suck. I think my head was okay after eating here too, and that’s important. Should I return, I’ll update the review. But my overall memory of it is pleasant.
Just know, if you plan to go here, get there early otherwise be prepared to wait a long time. But I think it’s a great place to eat at.
